The Lake Orion Lions Club would like to thank the entire Lake Orion Area community for helping make the 2012 Jubilee a tremendous success. We would also like to thank the sponsors, Milosch Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram, The Lake Orion Review and The Oakland Press. For the 3rd year the Jubilee was a green event, thanks to our partner Waste Management we were able to recycle all the plastic and cardboard refuse from the event. Thank you also to our host Olde World Canterbury Village for allowing the Lions Club to use their property to hold the event. Money raised from the Jubilee will allow Lions to meet the pressing needs in our community including our Annual Christmas Basket Program, Eyesight and Hearing programs and many other community service projects.
The Lake Orion Lions Club has over 55 members and meets first and third Wednesdays each month at Canterbury Village in Lake Orion. Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
