Jeff Gibbs, founder of E.P.I.C. (Every Person Involved Cares), launched "The Angel Project" on July 16. Gibbs is raising $15,000 to save a building to be used for programs, camps, coaching and counseling for the community and helping those interested in search of a better way of living.
E.P.I.C. helps people in the community get from where they are to where they want to be.
"The Angel Project" is cleaning up the building and grounds located at 55 W. Elizabeth Street. Volunteers have cleaned 50 feet of the building and already found over 100 used needles.
More volunteers and some items are needed to complete the project during the next 2 weeks. We will hold several fundraising events to help raise the money.
Gibbs founded E.P.I.C. to give back to the community and the people that saved his life. He grew up on the streets of Pontiac, was sent to Camp Oakland and became fostered by a family (teacher) in Oxford. His life story and founding of E.P.I.C. is truly a success story.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I have to thank everyone who has been supportive and added value to my life. Without pillars around me to model. I would never of been able to help others from not suffering. People just sometimes need to be coached or have a mentor. I have a gift for understanding why people are hurt and I always felt fulfilled when I could help. So it was clear to me that it was time for me to build a place and a home that allows others to grow and empower a community to give not get. When your are grateful. You are always in a better place and we need more help now than we ever have. So E.P.I.C. Was created to Meet the needs of today and to give not get.
