Waldon Middle School Helps Out With Weekly Clean!

On December 19th the Clinton River Watershed Council hosted a Weekly Clean event at the Kroger on Baldwin Rd. Over thirty 6th graders, walked from Waldon Middle School along the power lines down to Kroger picking up trash. They collected 20 bags of trash weighing about 500lbs. Weekly Clean is a program that CRWC started in August. Each Wednesday they host a clean up event at various sites throughout the watershed.  For a Weekly Clean Site near you check out www.crwc.org/event-news/weekly-clean/ or www.facebook.com/ClintonRiverWatershedCouncil

Perhaps the CRWC could setup a cleanup of the Paint Creek Mill, Mill Race since it doesn't have any water in it now, due the CRWC destroying the dam. The CRWC, killing the history of Oakland Township one federal grant at a time.

It would be great to have the CRWC care about Goodison! Com'on down and clean the mill race. You won't even need to walk on water, since you were the one's that took it away! Good job on the Community volunteer work Waldon Middle Schoolers.
