Bank of America Offers Free Museum Admission for Labor Day Weekend
Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders can get into a number of local attractions for free this weekend.
Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders will get an added bonus to their Labor Day weekend with the chance to visit local museums for free.
The national bank sponsors the Museums on Us program, which allows cardholders nationwide to visit more than 150 museums for free on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 1 and 2.
In metro Detroit, that includes the Henry Ford Museum, the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History, the Detroit Children’s Museum, the Detroit Historical Museum, the Detroit Science Center, the Flint Institute of Arts and the Motown Museum.
Photo ID and a valid Bank of America/Merrill Lynch credit or debit card must be presented. The offer includes one free general admission, limited to the cardholder at participating institutions, and excluding fundraising events, special exhibitions and ticketed shows.
For more information about Museums on Us, visit the program website.
Correction: A previous version of this article stated that Greenfield Village was included in the Museums on Us program.

It does not include Greenfield Village. The Bank of America - Museums On Us only applies to Henry Ford Museum. The free admission is only for the card holder.
