Dragons Finish Season With Pride After 34-27 Loss to Cass Tech

After a spectacular season, the Lake Orion Dragons ended with a 34-27 loss to Cass Tech, in a rematch at Troy Athens Saturday afternoon.
After a tied game at the half, Cass Tech pulled ahead with hard drives in the third and fourth quarters. Cass Tech will go to the Division 1 Finals at Ford Field.
But Lake Orion walks away with its 11-2 season with pride.
“I’m very proud of my guys this year,” Lake Orion Coach Chris Bell told MLive Detroit after the game Saturday. “What they did won’t sink in for a while, but they fought hard to the end and they deserve to have gotten this far.”
