U.S. Senate hopeful Pete Hoekstra shared an optomistic view of Michigan's economic recovery while het met with business owners and Rochester Hills Mayor Bryan Barnett at the Royal Park Hotel Wednesday afternoon.
Hoekstra said he was meeting with business owners and community leaders in southeast Michigan to identify specific barriers to remove and find ideas for funding that would aid economic recovery.
Hoekstra is the GOP favorite to win the August 7 primary election, which would pin him against Michigan's incumbent, Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow, in November's election.

Hoekstra is optimistic is he. Well when you keep giving yourself tax cuts and cutting the other guys' pension instead of your own, why wouldn't he be.

For people who hate government, they sure keep running to work in it. Bishop is another hypocrite.
