As a Parks Commissioner, who ran on transparency and on being fiscally conservative, I did NOT vote Read Moreto pass this absurd project. The vote was 5 for and 2 against. Sadly, the conservatives are in the minority on the parks commission. Ann Marie Rogers

Grass? No. Native plants, yes. Who got the crazy idea that the parks department would get involvedRead Morei n just planting grass seed? Please check your information and note that this plan is in place to restore native prairie plants which includes native grasses such as big blue stem, little blue stem, Indian grass, etc. The seeds that will be planted will take a lot of time and dedication to establish a prairie but worth it. True conservatives value nature and the environment. By the way, native grasses are the backbone of any prairie! In my small prairie garden I have seen the benefits of planting native species and the wildlife that is attracted to it and fed by it. I congratulate the Park Commission for getting this grant and working past the ignorance of some members of the commission.

When the suit against the majority of parks commissioners is DROPPED and we the tax payers get theRead Morel awyer bills for defending that stupid law suit filed by our "fiscally conservatives", what will be their excuse? Ann Marie Rogers is an embarrassment! One and DONE for this bunch.

Quite frankly Mr. Michalski, if I were this woman, I would be grateful that someone took the timeRead Moreto care about my scary and intimidating situation with Supervisor Gonser that effects me everyday where I live to share with the other citizens who may, in fact, want to support her because they have had similar experiences with Terry Gonser. Thank you Mr Michalski for caring and getting the word out to support and help this woman. When someone is being threatened and intimidated, the ONLY recourse is to get it out into the public with the authorities and the community to make others aware of the situation to hopeful persuade the perpetrator to back off. This is why these types of complaints are, in fact, PUBLIC information. Calling Mr. Michalski a "bully" for helping a victim is odd and cruel.

The only "bully" that I can detect in this most unsettling and egregious situation, isRead MoreTer ry Gonser. He doesn't carry himself with any more dignity in private as he does in public.
