The first Bark for Life of Oxford/Lake Orion will take place Wednesday, July 14.
Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the festivities will continue until 1 p.m.
The cost is $20 per dog and $5 for an additional dog per owner, but there's a two dog limit.

More About Orion Oaks County Park
The use of Oakland County Park requires a daily pass or annual vehicle permit. There are parking lots located on Joslyn, Baldwin and Clarkston roads. Fishing on Lake Sixteen and hiking and mountain biking are activities offered here.
There is a 24-acre fenced-off portion of the park that serves as the Orion Oaks Dog Park. The parking lot for the dog park is located off of Joslyn Road. There is access to Lake Sixteen for dogs to take a dip, two trails, drinking water, a vast field area and a picnic shelter.
