 k of "Mommy &amp\; Me" is the culmination of collaborative work by five 
 year old Reese Stefania Cecil and her mother Micki Buksar Cecil. Since t
 he moment Reese was conceived she has been an inspiration and driving fo
 rce&nbsp\; behind Micki's work. Such series as the "Pacify Series" and t
 he "Reese Series" were formed out of their bond and the love of mother a
 nd child. As in the "Reese Series" Micki collected Reese's markings and&
 nbsp\; dawings from the moment she could create anything to use within l
 ayers of encaustic and paint. Now that Reese is older\, the two of them 
 work together discussing what will be created\, making decisions of line
  and color and ultimately creating their work and characters. The work i
 s full of fun and love and sealed within layers of wax.
