The North Oakland Dixieland Band will be closing the Orion Township Concert series on Tuesday, August 28th from 7 - 8:30 PM. The concert will be held in Orion Township's Wildwood amphitheater on Joslyn Court (Just north of Joslyn and Waldon Roads) at 7 PM. The North Oakland Dixieland Band specializes in playing traditional jazz and swing music from the early 1900's through 1950. All members of the group are members of North Oakland Concert Band. More About Civic Center Park
There are two basketball courts, three baseball fields, eight soccer fields and a sand volleyball court at Civic Center park which is located across from the Charter Township of Orion office building. This park also has a playground for the kids, a pavilion with a capacity of 75 people and walking trails with a connection to the Polly Ann Trail.
