More About Rochester Avon Recreation Authority
Known around town as RARA, the Rochester Avon Recreation Authority provides organized sports and fitness programs, kids' classes and special community events to residents of Rochester and Rochester Hills. It is governed by a board of city and school officials and funded, in part, by tax dollars. Popular programs include childrens' dance courses, breakfast and dinner with Santa Claus events, a fall road rally and sports leagues for all ages. The office is located on East Second Street at Rochester Road South.
