DESCRIPTION:The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers in Auburn H
 ills to recruit fundraising teams\, garner community support\, coordinat
 e logistics\, plan entertainment and lend a hand to ensure the success o
 f the 2013 Relay For Life event. Cancer survivors\, caregivers\, communi
 ty leaders and anyone wanting to make a difference is invited to partici
 pate.\nThe first volunteer committee meeting will be held on December 12
 \, 2012 at Auburn Hills Community Center at 5:30 PM. The meeting will be
 gin the planning process for the Relay For Life of Auburn Hills\, which 
 supports the American Cancer Society&rsquo\;s mission of saving lives by
  helping people stay well\, by helping people get well\, by finding cure
 s and by fighting back against the disease.\nRelay For Life is a fun eve
 nt that brings together families\, friends\, businesses\, hospitals\, sc
 hools and faith-based groups to celebrate the lives of those who have ha
 d cancer\, remember those who lost their battle\, and fight back against
  the disease.
