Come watch and listen as gifted young artists aspiring to concert careers take a master class as part of their professional training. Much more intensive than private lessons, master classes challenge players to perform at their best in front of a renowned teacher/performer as well as an audience. Menahem Pressler is one of the world’s great pianists and teachers who has given master classes worldwide and served on the piano faculty at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music for over five decades. He will conduct a master class with four advanced student participants chosen from Michigan's finest university music departments.
