2014 Summer Concert Series in Downtown Lake Orion

The Downtown Lake Orion Summer Concert Series will begin Wednesday, July

9, 2014. The concerts, hosted by the Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority, will run each Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. through August 27, 2014. This year, there will alternate between Children’s Park, located on South Broadway in Downtown and Green’s Park, located on M24 & Flint Street on the Lake.

The Children’s Park performances will feature more kid-centered entertainment to make for a fun family night out, while the Green’s Park performances feature music like Jazz, Blues, & Rock N’ Roll.  All performances are free to the public and visitors are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chairs.   New this year, the DDA has brought on a few food partners offering dinner and refreshment selections during each show.  Hungry Howie’s & Kona Ice will be on site during the Children’s Park Concerts and 51 North Brewery will be at Green’s Park.

Children’s Park:         July 9 –            Playdate

                                    July 23 –          We 3 and She

                                    August 6 –       Orion Music Studio

                                    August 20 –     Miss Carissa

 

Green’s Park:             July 16 –          Drift

                                    July 30 –          David Gerald

                                    August 13 –     Josh Martelli Trio

August 27 –     MotorCity Troubadours
