STILL TIME TO ENROLL FOR SUMMER QUARTER AT BAKER COLLEGE OF AUBURN HILLS

Registration for fall quarter continues

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Baker College of Auburn Hills continues to enroll students for summer 2014. Classes begin Monday, June 30, with registration continuing through the first week of classes. Registration is still open for fall quarter as well, with classes beginning Monday, Sept. 29.

Enrollment is also continuing for several non-credit summer workshops for professionals, high school students and others interested in animation, 3-D printing, programming, online games and digital sculpting. Each workshop features two to three classes (lasting three hours each). Sessions begin June 23 and continue through July, and range from $100 to $150. Space is limited.

New for fall quarter is a certificate program that helps preschool educators prepare for the child development associate (CDA) credentialing assessment process by the Council for Professional Recognition. Baker’s CDA academic foundations program consists of seven classes that can be completed in three quarters. All classes are held in the evening, allowing professionals who work full time during the day to pursue this program.

Other bachelor’s, associate and certificate programs offered at Baker’s Auburn Hills campus are mobile application software engineering, post-licensure nursing, skilled care technician, supply chain management, administrative professional, computer programming, entrepreneurship, health navigator, Linux/UNIX systems technology, paralegal, paraprofessional–P-12 special education, VMware-certified professional, criminal justice, automotive service management, Cisco broadband/healthcare IT, legal studies, licensed practical nurse (LPN) to associate degree nurse (ADN) ladder, dental hygienist, dental assistant, respiratory care, automotive services technology, computer animation, marketing, management, accounting, computer network technology, cyber security, echocardiographic technology, interior design, computer aided design and elementary and secondary teacher preparation.

Financial assistance for credit classes is available to students, including scholarships, grants, low-interest loans and work-study programs.
