Haunted House Season is Near, Win 2 Tickets to Erebus in Pontiac

Fall is almost here, and with it comes the season in which people voluntarily line up to scare themselves silly.

To celebrate this creepy time of year, Erebus in Pontiac has teamed up with Patch to give away 10 pairs of tickets to its four-story haunted attraction.

All you need to do to enter the contest is comment on this story describing your "secret" fear, or what always gives you chills.

Erebus will open this year on Friday, Sept. 13, and is located in downtown Pontiac at 18 South Perry Street. Tickets are now available online, and time slots can be reserved to reduce the need to wait in line.

Tickets won in this contest are good for the 2013 season: Fridays and Saturdays in September and Wednesday through Sunday in October, through November 2. 

The rules:

• Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.
• To enter, add a comment at the end of this article, telling us your "secret" fear.
• All entries must be received by 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 Eastern Time.
• You may enter once.
• 10 winners will be selected in a random drawing.
• 10 Winners will receive two tickets to Erebus Haunted Attraction in Pontiac. Approximate Retail Value: $56.
