Oxford Backyards & Burgers
The Oxford Backyards & Burgers festival kicked off on Thursday and runs through Sunday. The festival features a carnival, a beer tent, burger contest with participating restaurants, garden specials downtown and a teen skate park.
The carnival will be open 4-11 p.m. Friday, noon-11 p.m. Saturday and 1-8 p.m. Sunday.
Oxford Tap Beer Tent will be open noon-11 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.

A teen skate park will be set up behind Randy Fox Drive and Oxford Bank from noon-7 p.m. on Friday and noon-9 p.m. on Saturday.
Winner of the best burger contest will be announced at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Centennial Park.
