Orion Business Expo Draws Record Number of Vendors

There was a lot to see Thursday night at the Orion Area Chamber's 8th Annual Community Business Expo.

About 100 vendors participated in the successful networking event at and hundreds of community members filed through the field house checking out what local businesses had to offer. Alaina Campbell, executive director of the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce, was thrilled to have 100 businesses participate, noting that it was the most they have ever had participate in the expo.

Promotional goodies, food samples and prizes were distributed throughout the event and every hour on the hour music was cranked and attention was directed to a flash mob.

Kids had a blast as well at this family fun, free event by playing in the bounce house, tumbling on mats and shooting basketballs.
