Get Out Your Plant Snuggies – There's a Frost Advisory in Effect Tonight

Temperatures could dip into the low 30s early Thursday, causing frosty patches across the area.

OK, so plant Snuggies don't exist (yet), but if you have a garden full of sensitive spring plants, you may want to take the time this evening to cover them with something, as a frost advisory has been issued for the area from 3-8 a.m. Thursday.

Clear skies and light winds will cause temperatures to plummet to the mid- to low 30s late Wednesday and early Thursday, causing patches of frost across the area.

"Sensitive vegetation will likely be damaged or killed," reads the advisory from the National Weather Service in Pontiac.
