Gunn Road to Close East of Rochester Road for Maintenance on Monday
The Road Commission for Oakland County will spend several weeks repairing and reconstructing the road where it crosses over Stony Creek.
The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) expects to close Gunn Road between Sheldon Road and Knob Creek Street (east of Rochester Road) in Oakland Township from Oct. 15 until approximately Nov. 6.
The closure is needed so RCOC can reconstruct the road where it is eroding along the banks of the Stony Creek.
During the closure, the detour route for through traffic will be Sheldon Road to Snell Road to Mt. Vernon Road and back to Gunn Road (and vice versa).
