Last Chance: Register for the Paint Creek Crawl Now

If you register for the Crawl by Saturday you will save $5 and get a T-shirt.

The Friends of the Paint Creek Trail are gearing up for its 2nd Annual Paint Creek Crawl set for May 12.

People 16 years of age and older can hop on their bicycles from 9 a.m.-noon, and join in the fun of this scavenger hunt-style game. Participants ride through the business districts in Lake Orion and Rochester collecting 10 stamps at stamping stations along the route to be entered in a prize drawing. The grand prize this year is a $500 gift certificate to , with many other prizes from local businesses available as well.

The 20-mile round trip ride kicks off at the . Last year about 100 bikers participated in the event raising over $2,500 for the trail. Proceeds benefit future enhancements, such as the addition of new water fountains, along the .

Cost to participate is $25 including a T-shirt until Saturday; $30 for registrations received after Saturday and onsite the day of the event. Participants who register after Saturday, are not guaranteed a T-shirt.
