Save Money, Shop Sales: Game Day Goodies

If you're throwing a Super Bowl party, or if you're just in need of some munchies, we've found some local deals to satisfy your needs. Please note, to activate some of the following deals, you must have a membership shopping card.

1. CVS
   Deal: Lay's chips are on sale this week for buy one, get one free and are perfect for throwing a party. Also at CVS this week are CVS brand acetaminophen and aspirin for buy one, get one 50 percent off, which might be a wise choice if you plan on drinking while watching the game.

2. Subway
   Deal: If you don't feel like cooking for the big game, stop by Subway and get a $5 footlong, which are available all through the month of February at select locations.

3. Kmart (located at 1025 S. Lapeer Rd. in Lake Orion)
   Deal: Finding a good deal on pop is always great. At Kmart this week deal-goers will find two 24-packs of Pepsi for $11.

4. Kroger
   Deal: You're going to need dip to go with those chips! A select variety of Kroger 16 ounce containers of cottage cheese, sour cream and dip will be on sale for four for $5 this week.

   Deal: What's better than pizza for watching the big game? Order the Howie Combo for $14.49 and get one large, one topping pizza along with a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi, Howie bread and sauce.
