Snow Showers Forecasted Toward End of Week

According to the National Weather Service, snowflakes won't fall until the end of the week.

Sunny skies are forecasted to continue through the first half of the week in Oakland Township, according to the National Weather Service, but colder temperatures and precipitation are forecasted for the end of the week.

Here’s a look at this week’s forecast:

Monday: Partly cloudy, with west-southwest winds forecasted between 7-17 mph. The high for the day is forecasted to be near 42 degrees, with a low around 30 degrees.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny during the day, turning partly cloudy in the evening. The high temperature for the day is forecasted to be 45 degrees, with a low of 32 degrees.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny during the day with a 30 percent chance of rain that evening. The high for the day is forecasted at 44 degrees with a low near 32 degrees.

Thursday: There is a chance of snow and rain showers during the day with temperatures remaining near 35 degrees. There's a chance of snow showers when temperatures drop to about 20 degrees that night.

Friday: A chance of snow showers is forecasted with a high near 26 degrees during the day, dipping to 18 degrees at night.

The weekend's forecdast calls for partly sunny skies with high temperatures in the upper 20s.
