Too Hot? Here's Where You Can Stay Cool Today Around Oakland Township

Inside an ice cream shop: The Paint Creek Cider Mill restaurant, which sells several flavors of ice cream, is open today if you want to cool off with a sweet treat.

At the library: The was closed during the long weekend, but it's open today until 9 p.m.

To the OPC: The invites people aged 50 and older who are residents of Rochester, Rochester Hills and Oakland Township to hang out at their facility during hot days — or any day. Transportation is available by calling (248) 656-1403.

At the movies: At Emagine in Rochester Hills, these movies had afternoon showtimes on Tuesday: Bridesmaids, Kung Fu Panda 2, Something Borrowed, Pirates of the Carribean, On Stranger Tides, The Hangover 2 and Thor 3D.
