Weekend Weather: Snow and Fluctuating Temperatures
Oakland Township will begin the weekend with highs near 17 degrees, increasing to 35 degrees by Sunday.

Here is a look at the forecast, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday: Temperatures forecasted for Friday are the lowest for the week with a high near 17 degrees and a low of 10 degrees Friday night. Aside from the low temperatures, the National Weather Service predicts that the wind-chill value will be 7 degrees below zero. Winds are anticipated to be mild, with an 80 percent chance of snow showers during the day, mostly starting after 3 p.m. There is a 100 percent chance that snow showers will continue through the night with 1-3 inches of accumulation possible.

Saturday: Mild winds and no snow is forecasted for Saturday. Temperatures will increase to a high near 24 degrees and a low of 19 degrees Saturday night.
Sunday: Snow and rain showers are forecasted throughout the day. There is a 20 percent chance of precipitation during the day and 60 percent chance at night. Temperatures will increase again, according to the National Weather Service, with a high near 35 degrees and a low of 31 degrees. Snow accumulation is not likely Sunday.
