Weekend Weather: Some Snow, Steady Temperatures

Snow showers are in the forecast for Friday and Saturday.

If you're heading out of town for Presidents Day weekend, drive safely; snow showers are in the forecast for Friday and Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are expected to remain steady, with highs in the 30s through Tuesday. Here is a look at the day-by-day forecast this weekend:

Friday: Partly sunny skies are in the forecast during the day, with a high near 38 degrees. Winds could reach 22 mph, mostly blowing 9-15 mph during the day with 6-8 mph south southwest winds at night. There is a 10 percent chance of snow after 5 p.m. and a 30 percent chance of snow after 10 p.m. on Friday. Temperatures are expected to dip to around 27 degrees.

Saturday: According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 37 degrees and a low near 23. Winds will be light, and there is a 40 percent chance of snow during the day.

Sunday: Clouds are expected to dissipate on Sunday, making way for mostly sunny skies and a high close to 31 degrees. Skies will stay clear Sunday night with a low of around 19 degrees.
