2013 New Years Resolution Run

13th Annual 5K New Year’s Resolution Run Scheduled

Forget the good intentions; put your healthy New Year’s resolution into action by participating in the 13th annual Downtown Lake Orion “New Year’s Resolution Run.”  Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 1st, the race offers two options: a 5K for the serious runners, and a 1-mile fun run for the rest of us. The race routes circle throughout the historical downtown district.

More than 200 runners participated last year, and this year’s event could draw an even larger crowd. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in several age categories. The runner with the best overall time in the 5K will receive a $100 gift certificate from the Downtown Development Authority.
