Family Fall Festival
OAKLAND COUNTY – Oakland County Parks and Recreation invites visitors to Family Fall Festival at the Oakland County Market to celebrate the season with locally grown produce, plants and games for the kids on Saturday, Oct. 27.
"Oakland County Parks and Recreation is excited to host its first seasonal event at the Oakland County Market,” Waterford Oaks Parks Supervisor Katie Stavale said. “There will be games and activities for the kids and fresh grilled food prepared by Kosch Catering for purchase. It’s a perfect opportunity to check out a variety of local vendors selling fresh fall harvest produce.”
The Family Fall Festival is free and runs from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Activities include pumpkin painting, climbing tower, games and inflatable bouncers (socks required).
Late October produce includes apples, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, celery, onions, potatoes, rutabagas, squash and turnips (subject to availability).

The Oakland County Market is located at 2350 Pontiac Lake Road in Waterford. The Farmers Market is open Tuesdays and Thursdays May through December from 6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Saturdays year round from 6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Flea Market is open year round on Sundays from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
