Stuff Your Mailbox to Stamp Out Hunger

Alright, so you don't actually have to put food inside your mailbox – just near it.

This Saturday, any non-perishable food items you leave in a bag at your mailbox will be picked up by your local letter carrier and delivered to an area food bank like Gleaners Community Food Bank, Forgotten Harvest and Food Gatherers.

It's that simple.

According to the Stamp Out Hunger Facebook page, donors gave 77.1 million pounds of food during last year's drive, bringing the drive's all-time total to more than a billion pounds of food.
