Trek & Treat

Head into this Halloween season with an extra spring in your step! Join students and mentors at Trek & Treat on Saturday, October 22 at 8:30 am at Bishop Foley High School’s football stadium at 32000 Campbell Road, Madison Heights, 48071.  Refreshments, music, and treats are all a part of this fundraising walk-a-thon for Student Mentor Partners. Funds raised from this event go towards at-risk students’ tuition assistance to attend one of the organization’s partnering private high schools.

At Trek & Treat, groups and individuals will make their way around the track, and each completed lap wins them special treats. They will compete for awards for highest fundraisers, and race winners for different age groups. Those who register early, receive weekly chances to be entered into a free raffle on that day. And, in true Halloween spirit, a prize goes to the team or individual with the best costume!

To register yourself or a team, contact Executive Director, Tyler MacEachran, by emailing tmaceachran@yahoo.com or calling (586) 445-6295. There is a $25 registration fee for participants to join in on the fun. Registration fees can be paid online by clicking “Click to Donate” at www.studentmentorpartners.org. Or, mail it to Student Mentor Partners with “Attn: Trek & Treat” on the envelope to 22777 Harper Avenue, Suite 301, St. Clair Shores, MI 48080.

In addition, Student Mentor Partners provides tuition assistance for their students to attend private, college prep high schools. They also offer supplemental academic and life skills workshops. Students, who complete the intensive program, graduate high school. 99% of Student Mentor Partners’ graduates have also gone onto college!
