Lake Orion's annual "Dragon on the Lake" festival, now in its fourth year, drew crowds to the downtown and lake area's of the city on Saturday and Sunday.
Everyone was in high spirits as they enjoyed live entertainment on two stages and watched as friends and neighbors good-naturedly battled it out on the lake during the dragon boat races.
A multitude of activities that included bungee harness, rock climbing, BMX stunts and skateboarding tricks wowed the crowds and even gave the brave a chance to try something new.
The festival's chalk art contest was amazing as many artists worked feverishly in the hot sun to produce truly fantastic works of art--with most depicting a dragon or two.
