Lake Orion Varsity Boys Lacrosse

Lake Orion High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse sits at the top of the OAA white Division

Unfortunately I have been lax (no pun intended) with my blog on LOHS Varsity Boys Lacrosse...but noticing that the Oakland Press or Lake Orion Review have not picked up on the fact that LOHS Boys Varsity Lacrosse is in the OAA White top spot, I figure it's time to give some kudos to the boys and their second year young Coach Brad Thomas and Assistant Coach John DiPonio.

The Dragons started out with a tough loss to South Lyon on March 21st. but turned it around to beat Waterford United 7-0 on the 23rd. On March 27th was their Home Opener against Rochester Stoney Creek which they won 8-5. They suffered another loss to Rochester Adams but on their first night of Conference play against West Bloomfield they pulled off yet another victory. They took on more wins over Royal Oak, Walled Lake Northern 14-8,  Farmington North-Harrison 9-4, Farmington 9-6, University Liggett Grosse Pointe 12-6 and Troy 10-7, but unfortunately on May 3rd. severe Michigan weather postponed the Varsity game against Oxford, the JV was able to finish their game with a 9-2 win. Oxford game will be played on Saturday May 19th. Next up for the LOHS Dragons Boys lacrosse will be a home game Tuesday May 8th. against Avondale, start time is 7pm.

The LOHS Boys Varsity Lacrosse team is captained by Robert Aiello, Brad Bogus and Grant Glende. We would also like to Congratulate Brad Bogus and Jake Berkal who have signed with Albion College, these two young men are All-State Honarable Mention last year in lacrosse.
