OAA White Title goes to Lake Orion Varsity Lacrosse

LOHS Varsity Dragon lacrosse team wins back-to-back OAA White Division titles!

The extremely wet weather and the fact that the Clarkston Wolves beat the Lake Orion Dragon lacrosse team did not dampen the spirit of the crowd and all the players in the May 12th Game for a Cure lacrosse exhibition. They had lacrosse teams with ages ranging from 8-18 years old girls and boys doing their best to win games between raindrops and donate to this great cause.

The Dragons bounced back on Monday the 14th as they made the long bus ride to Saginaw's Heritage High School, although the bus ride there was long and hot the 12-7 win over Heritage made the bus ride home happy and full of exciting stories.

Saturday May 19th the Dragons took on the Oxford Wildcats, this was the game that had been previously postponed due to lightening earlier in the month. Oxford had their Backyards and BBQ Hamburger Festival going on which brought even a bigger crowd to the game on the blue turf. The heat only pumped up the Varsity Dragons more as they beat Oxford 10-1 and clinched the OAA White Division title.
