Oakland County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched June 29 to the 3300 block of Waldon Road for a report of a stolen air conditioning unit.
According to the owner of the unit, the theft took place between June 24 and june 29. Deputies noticed the wires and copper lines had been cut and processed the scene for evidence and contacted local salvage yards.
Deputies are conducting extra patrols of the area.
