Man Tells Deputies He Sexually Assaulted 7-Year-Old Stepdaughter

An Orion Township man told Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies on April 13 he wanted to turn himself in for sexually assaulting his seven-year-old stepdaughter, according to an incident report.

According to the report, deputies and a detective arrived to the man's Orion Township residence, where he reportedly made incriminating statements.

The man was arrested and lodged at the Oakland County Jail on a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and Child Protective Services was notified of the case, the report indicated. The investigation is ongoing.
