Police Blotter: Nighttime Vandals Damage Car Window, Mailboxes, Tires

The following information was supplied by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Substation in Oakland Township.

Vandals smash window of car

A resident on East Buell Road reported Thursday morning that someone had smashed the passenger side window of their 2011 Subaru during the night, according to an Oakland County Sheriff's Office report. There was no evidence recovered at the scene and there are no witnesses or suspects at this time.

Mailboxes damaged during the night

Someone damaged an Oakland Township couple's roadside mailboxes on East Gunn Road early Thursday morning, according to a sheriff's office report. One of the residents found what he believed to be parts of a vehicle near the damaged mailboxes. There are no suspects at this time.

Tire punctured during the night

A resident on Lyndon Circle discovered early Monday morning that her tire had gone flat during the night. A small hole "consistent with a sharp tool or knife" was visible on the side of the tire, according to a sheriff's office report. There are no suspects at this time.
