Police Find Pot Plants, Drug Ledger and More in Lake Orion Hair Salon Raid

Some 47 marijuana plants, more than 8 pounds of processed marijuana and other items were seized in raid at Back to Beautiful.

A Lake Orion businessman was offering more than haircuts, pedicures and other salon services from his home-based business, an Oakland County Sheriff's Office drug task force alleges.

Acting on a tip, officers with the Oakland County Sheriff’s Narcotics Enforcement Team raided Back to Beautiful, 107 N. Leeper earlier this month and arrested owner Robert Weeks, 51, on marijuana charges, the Macomb Daily reports

The tipster told authorities that Weeks was growing marijuana at his home and selling it. A Jan. 15 search of the location turned up 47 marijuana plants, 3,775 grams – about 8 ½ pounds – of marijuana, two digital scales, packing materials, a hand-written drug ledger and other documents, Oakland County Undersheriff Michael McCabe told the newspaper.
