Alleged Suicide Pact Attempted on the Paint Creek Trail Leaves Woman Dead
A man and woman attempted a drug-induced suicide pact by jumping off a bridge onto the Paint Creek Trail. The following information was supplied by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office Substation in Oakland Township.
OCSO deputies responded to a report of suicide at the bridge at Clarkston and Kern Roads on the Paint Creek Trail in Oakland Township Monday morning.
According to the police report, the incident appeared to be a suicide pact between the two victims. Police said the incident involved the victims using a combination of Methadone and Ambien.
A 31-year-old Orion Township woman was pronounced dead at the scene, shortly after police arrived after 6 a.m. The Oakland County Medical Examiner is performing autopsy.

A 32-year-old Oakland Township man survived the jump, and was brought into the OCSO Oakland Township substation for questioning.
