There are three candidates for Oakland County Prosecuting Attorney in the Nov. 6 election.
Republican Mike Bishop, Democrat Jessica R. Cooper and Libertarian Steven Afton are running for the office.

If you would not hire him as your attorney why would you put him in charge of all the trials for all of the felony cases in Oakland County for the next four years? The population of Oakland County is 1,210,000 people. there are many felons in our County and many felons from other nearby counties come into our County to commit their crimes. A strong, competent County Prosecutor is always needed to protect the people of our County and see that such criminals are tried, found guilty and locked up. Francis P.. Hughes
What is difficult is that most people are not aware of exactly the impact of the Oakland County Prosecutor’s office on the community. Like all elected officials, the prosecutor must uphold the oath of office and maintain the public trust. The prosecutor must show fiscal responsibility when spending taxpayer money. And, the prosecutor must never forget that they are “the people’s attorney,” ensuring equal justice for all. This is all something that Cooper is not doing. She does not care about the people she is representing, she simply likes to brag about HER. Mike Bishop is the man for the job! Vote Mike Bishop November 6th!
