Orion Township
Election inspectors are needed full and part of the day. Inspectors must be a registered voter in Oakland County and willing to declare a political party preference. The positions are paid, and a mandatory training is provided. Applications are available in the Township Clerk’s office, 2525 Joslyn Road, Lake Orion, Michigan, 48360. Election inspectors work at their assigned precinct from 6 a.m. to completion on Nov. 6. Duties include setting up the precinct, guide voters through the voting process, administrate State of Michigan election law, and maintain detailed records to be submitted to the Township and the County. Training is provided prior to each election. The positions are paid. To apply, fill out the online application here and return it to the Oakland Township Clerk’s Office.
