Voters Reject 2 Lake Orion School Bond Proposals

2 bond ballot questions fail with Lake Orion district voters.

Voters on Tuesday rejected two bond proposals by Lake Orion Community Schools, according to unofficial election results from Oakland County.

Proposition A, which sought $28.69 million for technology and building improvements, went down with 58.54 percent of district voters casting ballots against the proposal.

Proposition B, which sought $4.54 million for technology equipment and furnishing buildings and athletic facilities, was defeated with 58.7 percent of voters deciding against the ballot item.
