After a week full of spirited activities, students are hyped up for their homecoming game today at 7 p.m.
Watch the homecoming parade
Prior to the game, the homecoming parade will start at 5 p.m. at Blanche Sims Elementary School and snake its way through downtown Lake Orion. Students participating in the parade will start to gather at Blanche Sims at 4 p.m.
Lake Orion vs. Troy Athens homecoming game
The Dragons homecoming game starts at 7 tonight, bringing high stakes for the Lake Orion Dragons who are on a hot streak. After their opening loss away against Oxford, the Dragons have gone on to win their next five games leaving them with a 5-1 record. In every game since Oxford, the Dragons have only let up 14 points at the most to their opponents.

Troy Athens Red Hawks have the same overall record making the matchup a big game. Though their overall records are the same, Troy Athens is 4-1 in the Oakland Activities Association Red division while the Dragons are 5-0. If Dragons come out on top then next week they will play in the OAA Crossover game, a battle of the top teams in the OAA White and OAA Red.
At halftime, the homecoming court will take the field and the homecoming king and queen will be crowned.

It’s going to be a great night for football
