Lake Orion Kicks Off New Year With Resolution Run
Hundreds of runners ran through Lake Orion on Sunday in the 11th annual run, a fundraiser for the Downtown Development Authority.
Area residents started off the New Year on the right foot on Sunday as they ran through downtown Lake Orion as part of the 11th annual New Year's Resolution Run.
People of all ages participated in the 5K run, many donning hats and costumes. The Resolution Run provides funds for the Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority. Finishing first for the participating men was Jules Winfield, 30, of Lake Orion with a time of 17:43; the first female across the finish line was Lindsey Resnik, 24, of Ortonville with a time of 19:37.
