Lake Orion High School, Stoney Creek High School and Rochester Unified are among the sixty teams throughout Michigan that will compete in the hockey showcase through Feb. 10 at the Arctic Coliseum Arena in Chelsea.

The third annual Michigan Public High School Hockey Showcase is under way at the Arctic Coliseum Arena in Chelsea this week.

The tournament is the largest high school athletic showcase and the largest public high school showcase in the history of high school athletics in Michigan.

Sixty teams from Division I, II, and III public high schools from around the state are participating.

  • Lake Orion High School plays Milford on Thursday, Feb. 7; the team plays Livonia Franklin on Sunday, Feb. 10.
  • Stoney Creek High School beat Novi 3-2 on Feb. 4; the team plays South Lyon on Sunday, Feb. 10.
  • Rochester Unified plays Escanaba on Friday, Feb. 8, and East Kentwood on Saturday, Feb. 9.
