Bo and Karen Acree opened The Paint Creek Market -- which also goes by the nick-name of "The Little Store" -- in 1967. It has been a successful local business ever since, a place where kids would go after school for candy, and adults would go after a long day at work for basic home necessities. It is still family-owned and run, and still a popular spot for all ages.
