As one of the most popular trails in the county, residents can be found walking, biking, running and horseback riding on the Paint Creek Trail nearly every day of the year. The trail runs parallel to Orion Road for a distance, cutting directly through the unincorporated village of Goodison. The trail runs from Rochester's Municipal Park to downtown Lake Orion, and horseback riding is permitted north of Dutton Road. 5.3 of the Paint Creek Trail's 8.9 miles lie within Oakland Township's borders; public restrooms are available at the Paint Creek Cider Mill from 8am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
