Stadium Drive Elementary School of the Arts uses an art-based approach to teach students. The art-infused curriculum includes everything from theater to music, dance, art and more. It is a Blue Ribbon School, which means it is nationally recognized for its excellence in education for its students. It is also an accredited Michigan Green School, with an Evergreen status, and recently earned an Environmental Protection Agency Energy Star honor. The Michigan Association of School Boards gave the elementary school a 2011 Education Excellence Award for Ancient Greek Theatre as well.
