Troy Family Daze Sponsor: Help Us Raise $10K for Slain West Bloomfield Officer's Family

Emergency Restoration employees will be collecting donations Thursday through Sunday at Troy Family Daze for the family of West Bloomfield Police Officer Patrick O'Rourke, who was killed Sunday night in the line of duty.

Liz Ratzloff of Ann Arbor attended the rally and wore the official "Pillamina" mascot costume for Planned Parenthood. "I'm here sporting Pillamina because Romney doesn't support low-cost …

Sold-Out Scrapbooking Fundraiser will Raise Money for Oak Arbor School

This Saturday's scrapbooking event will feature raffles, prizes, massages and food.

Some schools and churches have bake sales to raise money. Others hold auctions, host sports events or organize car washes. The school uses the popular hobby as an innovative way to raise funds. This year, they plan on matching their earnings and putting the proceeds into the Oak School Endowment. The event is an all-day affair at Oak Arbor, running from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday. Guests are provided with lunch, dinner and snacks throughout the day, and on-site massages are available for the pampered scrapbooker. Raffle tickets may also be purchased for between $…
