Tipster Says Hoffa Buried in Oakland Township

Canton Trustee John Anthony—a former FBI agent—says tip by alleged ex-mobster is credible.

A field just east of Adams Road off Buell Road in Oakland Township is where Jimmy Hoffa is buried, a tipster has told a WDIV-TV, Channel 4 reporter. Hoffa, a former Teamsters leader, disappeared in 1975, but his body has never been found. The tipster said it would be found in a lot of what was then the Machus Red Fox restaurant in Bloomfield Township, according to the Detroit Free Press. Canton Township Trustee John Anthony, a former FBI agent who once worked on the case surrounding the disappearance and presumed murder of Hoffa 37 years ago, says a recent tip might provide essential information in finally solving the mystery.
