Poll of the Week: What Grade Do You Think Michigan's Education System Deserves?

This was one of the questions asked at The Future of Education Community Conversation on Tuesday in Orion Township.

The Future of Education Community Conversation held at Orion Township Public Library on Tuesday drew a lot of thoughtful discussion. Attendees were given clickers and asked to respond to a variety of questions with multiple options per question. Those in attendance were asked what letter grade they think the statewide public education system deserves, and now we want your opinion. Respond to our poll and tell us why you graded the system that way in the comments. At the forum on Tuesday 57 percent of attendees said they would give Michigan's public education system a "B" and 38 percent responded "C," with 6 percent saying they would give it an "A." Joshua: The students were welcome to attend the forum -- it was open to anyone in the community, and widely publicized. But you are right, there were no students in attendance.
